Where to stay for the Blue Angels Homecoming show

If there are four to six of you coming in for the Homecoming show, start with Private Oasis with Pool & Tiki Bar. Four bedrooms, listed to sleep eight, a pool and an outdoor bar in the back, and the listing puts you roughly a quarter of an hour from the Naval Aviation Museum and about twelve minutes from Palafox. For a group that wants its own bedroom each and a place to land at the end of a long day on an airfield, nothing else in the Pensacola portfolio does all of that at once.
That's the short answer. The longer one depends on whether your group would rather be near the base or near the water, and on one thing most people planning this trip underestimate: the show runs Friday and Saturday, November 6 and 7, 2026, gates open at eight in the morning, flying starts at 9:30, and the Blue Angels themselves go up around two in the afternoon. That's a six-hour day standing on a flightline in the sun before you've even driven home. Where you sleep matters less than what's waiting for you when you get back.
Book for the afternoon you come back, not the morning you leave
Admission and parking at NAS Pensacola are free, which is wonderful and also the reason this is one of the biggest events on the Gulf Coast calendar: well north of a hundred and fifty thousand people over the two days. You will queue. You will walk. You'll come back sunburned and faintly deaf, and you will not want to find a restaurant table.
So the amenities that decide this booking aren't the glamorous ones. A real kitchen, so somebody can put food on a table at six. Outdoor space, because after a day in the open you'll want to be outside but sitting down. A washer, because three days of flightline clothes is a lot. Free parking, because you're bringing cars and the base is not where you want to be solving a parking problem.
Four of our Pensacola homes carry a private pool. In early November, a Gulf Coast pool is a pleasant thing to sit beside rather than something anyone swims in at dusk, so weigh it accordingly.
The five worth comparing, and what each is actually for
Nine of our homes sit in Pensacola. These five are the ones that make sense for a group of four to eight on an air show weekend.
Private Oasis with Pool & Tiki Bar is the one I'd book for a group of six adults who don't want to share rooms. Four bedrooms, listed to sleep eight, two bathrooms, and about two thousand square feet, which is the most floor space of anything we have in Pensacola. The sunroom is air conditioned and holds a pool table and a foosball table, which is a better Friday night than it sounds when half the group is too tired to go out. There's a BBQ grill and an ice maker by the outdoor bar. It has rated 9.9 across twenty-six reviews, the deepest review history of the five. The listing puts the Naval Aviation Museum, the Pensacola Lighthouse and the Blue Angels practice flights all around fifteen minutes away, with downtown and the Saturday Palafox Market about twelve.
Family Friendly Pensacola Home Near Gulf Breeze is three bedrooms on a single level, listed to sleep six, with a garage, a garden and a private backyard. No stairs anywhere, which matters more than people expect when somebody in the group has a bad knee and has just stood on asphalt for six hours. It's also the one whose listing names the most useful short-drive food: Buenos Dias Cafe for breakfast five to ten minutes away, Brother's BBQ on the Pensacola side, and Shaggy's and Flounder's Chowder House out at Pensacola Beach ten to fifteen minutes on. No pool here. If your group's idea of a good weekend is a quiet house with a backyard and good breakfast nearby, that absence costs you nothing.
Family Getaway w-Pool, Park & Near Beaches is the budget-conscious pick and the one with the clearest catch. Two bedrooms, a dedicated office room, listed to sleep seven across a queen, twin bunks with a trundle and a queen sleeper sofa, with a private backyard pool and a playground park directly across the street. The catch: one bathroom, no dishwasher, no microwave, and no washer or dryer on site. The nearest laundromat is Spin City, a couple of miles off. For a family with kids who'll be in the pool and the park, that's a fair trade. For six adults sharing one bathroom on an 8 a.m.-gates morning, it isn't.
Waterfront Townhouse with Pool, Beach and Kayaks is bayfront out on Innerarity Point, two bedrooms plus a full sleeper sofa, listed to sleep six. A king in the master with its own bathroom and a private balcony over the bay, a queen in the guest room, two balconies in all, beach access, a community pool and kayaks you can take out. The morning after the show, when nobody wants to get in a car, that's the house that gives you something to do on foot. The listing puts the Naval Aviation Museum about twenty-five minutes away, Perdido Key State Park around ten and Johnson Beach around twelve, with The Point Restaurant roughly a mile off for oysters and sunset. Two flights of stairs to reach the bedrooms, worth knowing before you book.
Emerald Shores Private Beach Club, Bar, Pool sits inside Lost Key Golf and Beach Club, two bedrooms, listed to sleep six, with access to a private beach club, a resort pool, golf and tennis, plus an ocean view and a screened porch. It holds a perfect 10 across seventeen reviews, the highest-rated home we have in Pensacola. Lost Key runs a shuttle; ask about times when you check in. Same caveat as the other townhome: it's three storeys, living space on the second floor, bedrooms on the third.
Houses or townhomes
The split is clean and it decides more than the bedroom count does. The two single-level houses, Gulf Breeze Ave and Adkinson Dr, have no stairs at all. The two townhomes, Innerarity Point and Beach Heather, both put the living space on one floor and the bedrooms a flight above that. Jan's Oasis on Bobwhite is a house with the sunroom and the pool on the same level as everything else.
A small group with somebody who'd rather not climb twice a day should take one of the single-level houses and not think about it again. A group that wants the bay out the bedroom window should take the stairs and enjoy the balcony.
If you need more than three bedrooms
Two Pensacola homes have four. Private Oasis with Pool & Tiki Bar is listed to sleep eight across four bedrooms, with one queen master suite, a twin room, a queen Murphy bed room and a third queen. Modern Beach Escape-Game Zone, BBQ, 5 min Beach is also four bedrooms, listed to sleep eight, out on Perdido Key Drive near Johnson Beach, with a private patio and BBQ. Perdido Key is the barrier island west of the city, a longer run to the base than the Bobwhite house but right on top of the quiet end of Gulf Islands National Seashore if that's part of your trip.
Between three and four bedrooms you also have Private-Relaxing, Pool, Dwntwn PNS & Beaches, three bedrooms listed to sleep seven with a private pool and quick access to I-10 and downtown, and Modern Townhouse Near Dwntwn, 8 min to PNS-Beach, three bedrooms sleeping six with a patio and a grill. If downtown is where you want to spend Friday night, Cottage on 10th is two bedrooms sleeping six with a fenced backyard and a BBQ grill, close enough to the Palafox end of town to make an evening of Seville Quarter or the Fish House easy.
Check these four things before you put money down
Homecoming weekend is the busiest booking window of the Pensacola year, so the order of operations matters.
- Availability and minimum stay for November 6–7, 2026. Call or message us with your dates and group size and we'll tell you what's genuinely open rather than what looks open on a calendar.
- The bed configuration, not just the headline number. Several of these homes reach their listed capacity using a sleeper sofa. Six adults in a two-bedroom plus sofa is a different weekend from six adults in four bedrooms.
- Bathrooms. The Adkinson house has one, Jan's Oasis and the Gulf Breeze Ave house have two, the two townhomes have two and a half. On a morning where the gates open at eight, that's the number that sets your alarm.
- Stairs and parking. Ask about both. The townhomes have the stairs; the single-level houses don't. Free parking is listed at Bobwhite, Gulf Breeze Ave, Adkinson, Innerarity Point and Beach Heather, which is worth confirming for the number of cars you're actually bringing.
Pets aren't accepted at the five homes above. If you're travelling with a dog, say so when you enquire and we'll tell you what we have.
What you get from booking with us rather than a listing site
We're locally owned and independently operated, and we've been letting homes in Pensacola for more than twenty years. Every home is inspected and cleaned to hotel standard between guests. Book direct and you get our best rate guarantee and guest perks, plus a local team you can actually phone, which on a weekend when three hundred thousand people are trying to find the same gate is not a small thing.
Each booking includes a non-refundable damage protection fee covering up to $3,000 in accidental damage, and the lead guest completes a short pre-arrival form before check-in. We don't hover. We're on the phone or in the app if you need us, and we'll happily tell you where to eat on the Thursday night before the flying starts.

One more thing about the weekend itself
The flightline at NAS Pensacola is the place to watch. Some of the higher work is visible from Fort Pickens out on Santa Rosa Island, but the show is built for the crowd on the field, and the Blue Angels fly around two on both days. Reserved seating along the flight line exists if you'd rather not stake out a patch at dawn.
Build the Saturday market into your plan: Palafox Market runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday along North Palafox, rain or shine. If you're staying out at Innerarity Point or on Perdido Key, Sunday is better spent on the water than in the car. Perdido Key State Park and Johnson Beach are both ten minutes or so from the bayfront townhouse, and in November you'll have a lot of the sand to yourselves.
